We understand you want to see removals right away, but the review removal process can be lengthy. The Dandy review removal process is indefinite and the time it takes to remove a review is different for each review being challenged. Each challenge that is submitted can take potentially 30 or more business days for a resolution to be received from your review sites and many reviews need to be challenged several times before a removal response is received. If your review is denied removal, Dandy will re-submit an indefinite number of escalated challenges in an attempt to remove the review in question.
Upon your negative reviews being loaded into your Dandy application, each review site requires that the review be flagged before we can submit our first manual challenges. The flag process takes approximately 5 to 7 business days for the flag to clear on the review if it isn't removed. Next we will automatically send all your existing negative reviews to your review site for removal in the form of an initial challenge. If your review site denies our initial removal request, Dandy then submits the first of an indefinite number of escalated challenges.
If the first initial challenge is denied, an escalated review challenge is produced and submitted by our review department. These challenges are manually reviewed by an agent of each review site and can take approximately 30 business days for a response to be received.
An indefinite number of escalated review challenges can occur if the previous escalated challenges are denied removal. These additional escalated challenges are reviewed and analyzed again by our review team and then resubmitted. These requests are also manually reviewed by a different review site agent and can take approximately 30 business days for a response to be received. Each time an additional escalated challenge is submitted, a new representative from your review sites is assigned the case again.
In order to provide a best possible outcome, we want to ensure that your review challenges into the hands of as many representatives as possible, as each representative can view the resolution of review removal differently. If these additional review challenges are denied by your review site, we will continue to challenge the review until we receive a removal response.
Google, Yelp, Facebook, and TripAdvisor each have their own processes to handle review removal requests and the timings between challenges for each review site may differ.
Please be aware, that review removal challenges cannot be sent to your review sites without first completing your access invitations. Instructions on how to complete your access invitations can be located in the Dandy application under 'Integrations.'
